Mag wheel refurb... Dishwasher?
« on: December 02, 2014, 09:56 PM »
Hey all, starting a bit of a half-arsed resto/general tidy up of my 84 Burner. Got some black simplex mag wheels that need a clean up and read somewhere about bunging them in the dishwasher.  ???
Anyone actually done this? Does it work? Can they cope with the heat?

wheels should be fine ,remove all the hardware and  run em on a cool wash to be on the safe side ,put more tablets/powder in,  skyways ogk's etc are ok on a hot wash but they are made from a different material

you on the other hand may not be quite so safe if your gurt busts you with the wheels in there  :tickedoff:   :knuppel2: :knuppel2: :knuppel2:   :LolLolLolLol:
