manly/peregrine 95s NOW BUILT
« on: December 01, 2014, 04:18 PM »
anyone know if the manly 95s or peregrine 95s were cross laced, i,ve seen some photos of the peregrines and they all seem to be radial laced but i seem to remember them being cross laced. any photo's would be helpful as i'm planning on building a set of 95s and would rather do them cross laced.

got 1 wheel built today, need to wait on more spokes to do the rear. not the easiest wheel build i,ve ever done, took about 1 1/2 hours to lace it and another 1 1/2 to tension and true.  :)

Nice that John. Gi's a close up of the spokes/rim to stop me going bong-eyed trying to work out the crossover/under  :)

i,ll see if i can get some better pics tomorrow in daylight, it's like lacing a normal wheel but doing 2 spokes at a time crossing over then under. you have to bend them a bit to get them in there so takes a bit of time.

i drilled the hubs and rims myself, then had to strip the black anno of the rims and then a bit polish. building 1 wheel took about 3 hours all in.  :)
