Resurrection of the Vector thanks to Phil and Dan *Update*
« on: November 26, 2014, 05:22 PM »
My Vector had issues...... I fell out of love with it, but decided to persevere as I'm a stubborn git at the best of times.  Called in the A team of Phil Sawzall and SBD and today a xmas bundle of loveliness landed back at chez moi  :daumenhoch:

Can't thank them both enough for the second coming of the bastard thing, I might even keep it now that I've sold most of the bits I was going to stick on it..........

Pics obviously show before and after......... the quality of their work should be fairly obvious.  For Sale (probably...... if anyones interested)  ;D

Bert

Before

During........

After surgery......

Thanks Bert, I have to say I never saw those before pics and didn't realize it was that bad, when I received it back from Phil it looked like a normal frame so my work was easy, Phil is a genius end of :daumenhoch:

its like an addiction, but a good one at that only costs money and time (and the odd marriage) but for me i cant help myself loving those diddy little kiddies bikes..LOL

for me its got to the stage i daren't even have anything delivered bmx to the house!
I slipped up recently and had 3 pairs of Haro vector bars sent home...
man oh man the fallout from that one!!! BUT i made her think it was just one pair HAHAH. too badd

that Vector is masterful beauty and the masters at work resurrecting that frame are Gods of their trade to be sure to be sure.

I find the decal sticking thing quite therapeutic......... except for when I stick a fork decal on upside down.  I've done it more than once.....

I'm allowed on the worktop, but not her table which is a pity as the light is much better for photos.   ;D
