My nice little Skyway Find.....

Trawling through ebay last week with my usual 'Skyway' keyword and found this.

It was on an auction, no bids as of then.
Watched it for a full week, no-one else bid. Mine for £12, a little bit of postage, no import duty.

Badly listed really as if you were looking through the listings you wouldn't have seen the back of it giving away what it really was. I only knew what it was as I'd seen Craig Campbell's the week before when he'd posted it up on the Skyway Appreciation Group on Facebook.

This was listed in Redding, California, coincidentally where the Skyway Factory is based.

Anyway, from speaking to Maurice Meyer this would have been owned by Charles 'Chuck' Raudman, the Founder of Skyway and also the inventor of the Tuff Wheel.

A great bit of Skyway history / memorabilia. Probably from early, mid 80's
It's in awesome mint condition too. Looks brand new.

Just a pity his first name wasn't Steve!!
