Is it a good idea to buy a used new school ride with pegs on it ?

Can't see a reason not to 

I run pegs on mine and have bought several used frames that have had pegs used on them, only damage I've suffered due to peg usage is the odd small dent on the chain stays through missed grinds

New school frames are way stronger than all that old school tat
