If I was going to use it for down hill I would have fitted a front brake, here are my reasons for not fitting one:
1. Motomags mostly had just a rear brake.
2. Don't need a front brake for wheelies.
3. Cost of the hope brake set up.
4. Didn't want to weld a tab to a nice clean looking fork.
I do like a front brake on a build but these reasons swayed my decision at the welding stage.
Yes, i think a front brake would spoil it...
