Ive just noticed the cup on the hub is sticking out,i went to start to polish this and said fook how this happened,will it go in or how do i take it out,have any of you guys had to do anything like this?

I'm guessing from the question, it can't be tapped back in?

Is it a Shimano ?? If it is I think some of their hub variations have them like that for the plastic cone shaped grease seal to clip on $:-\$

Yeah its a shimano Steve,so there should be a wee cap for it then?hmmm not sure were that would be.

Again I'm guessing you have a rear hub there?
