I forgot that lippy bit at the bottom of the old slalom ramp. One of last times I went I saw some geezer doing front flip off it.

The news hit the daily star today as well.
Me and my bro and a few pals spent the best part of the 80's at ROM. Saw some cool shit go down and was even involved in some of it.......not just good times, the best times.

Nice shots old boy.

Tbh it was a massive bail, me or the bike, you know the one.

I remember snivelling on the way home. Not just the disappointment but crapping myself of me mams reaction.

She saw how upset I was so let it roll. A few months later I'd saved up a bit and sold stuff to help pay for a GT pro performer. Which I still have to be resto'd next year.

Forks a gonner. The headstocks held up. Lost the seat clamp n tube so dunno bout that repair.

Thanx guys. Mebbe NXT year I got quite a bit on at mo.

Ideas for next year are sorting the pro performer out. Re chroming the vdc monkey bars. Sorting the ole ripper. Getting YES helmet relined.

Just looked big back over the shots. On me ripper.
Did anyone spot the rear mx1000 brake inside the rear triangle with the upside down MRD brake fender? That worked quite well strangely. 😀

that can be saved  :daumenhoch:

You could save that for less than another frame set would cost and you could probably save the original paint as well on the frame and forks which would be good.

Sure thing buddy.

I've got a bit on at mo but she's booked in for TLC next year. You reckon landing gear can be saved too? I sure won't trust em in a park again surely? Lost the post n seatclamp bits a long time ago. Put em in a toolbox somewhere I think.
