Good Tut on removing crank from bmx.

Hey guys, im stripping my bike to respray it, im okay with removing basicly everything but does anyone know a decent tut on removing the crank?

crank extractors are the way forward no messin wit 3pc :)  Put a request up in tech n restoration if you cannot find a tutorial sure someone will help :)

Take the non drive pedal off (thread turns clockwise that side). Remove lock nut and cone nut at the bottom bracket, again, I think they turn clockwise. Pull the arm through the bottom bracket. You may find it best to pull the non drive side bearing out to give you more clearance. If you need to remove the bearing cups, just bash them out with a hammer and drift.

from memory

1, remove pedal on non chainring side

2, remove lockring and washer, they undo clockwise (i hope)

3 remove bearing race (same way as in 2)

4 gently remove bearings

5 pull crank out and bearings on chain ring side

6 gently but firmly tap out the bearing cups in the frame, use a drift and hammer

thanks alot guys your are both awsome, im gonna start tomorrow once I get my gcse results( all u americans wont know what im on about, they are exams lol) gotta mask up a bit of the garage with plastic sheet lol dont wanna get no paint on dads beamer hehe.
