Road bike restoration

This has only taken me about 4 years to finish but now it's done I am quite happy with the results.  It goes on its first test ride tomorrow!

My old 653 Ribble road bike I bought in 1992 (I think), before its strip down it looked like this and was feeling old and tired:





Now after a full strip and almost entirely new groupset save for the headset, seatpost, levers/shifters and wheels it looks like this:









Better to crash and burn than fade away

Ribble are based very close to me , been around for donkeys years .
WANTED : Old school BMX patches/sew on badges ......  please  :)

how close is that front wheel to the frame marty ???

if only I could find a raliegh sun super 5.  :-\
