1st build since 2010,... NATIONAL PRO LONG
« on: October 19, 2014, 04:35 PM »
Ok, i haven't built anything for over 4 years..., unitil this weekend. I bought this frame from Jon (jt racing) ages ago, got it stripped and re-finished in Candy red by Superbike Dan. Since then it hasn't seen the light of day.
Anyway, i went through my loft and pulled some bits together, including my old Bottemas and  built this,..... hope you like  :)

Matt

Lush, me likey!  I liked this when Jon had it (a lovely blue colour) and now it looks even better especially the combination of those forks and bars - they are two of my favs!

Very very nice build mate. I love these frames.... Still gathering parts for mine but take great motivation from seeing this. Nice seeing a Natty P not on spoked rims too. Love it.

I'm not usually a big fan of Skyways on race bikes (ignoring those on my Trident, not to mention Andy Patterson!!) but that is flippin' lovely and yet another BOTM favourite!!

I toyed with fitting my Bottema M-2 race forks onto my NP for a while but have instead opted to use the original NP items. Love the way the Bottema items look though. The M-2 race ones have much shorter (but still substantial) dropouts.

One if the nicest builds I've seen for quite a while mate  :coolsmiley:

Thanks mate :coolsmiley:

I had the same thought, with the tuffs and bottema scenario.., i didnt have original NP forks anyway - but The bottemas worked fine for me. I had them on a Nomura previously, but tbh they would suit any build as they scream old school
