hi new here
« on: October 14, 2014, 04:43 PM »
Hello all I am new here, I joined because I recently pulled my 1981 torker mx out of my parents shed, I'm the orig owner, i won numerous trophies racing it, now it's in very sad shape, i may or may not restore it. I found a thread here where there were two that were resored, i figured I could find information and guidance here. Thanks

Ok.I found tzz is sept 1982.. 6212 I would guess that is how many were made? There is no letter following to dictate model.

Very nice, you're so lucky to still have your original bike

Should clean up nice that - I would strip it down and give the chrome bits a nice citric or oxalic acid bath and a gentle polish with Peek, lots of info on best way to do it in the tech n resto section

And welcome to RAD  :daumenhoch:
