To kool for (old) school?!?
« on: August 23, 2006, 11:30 AM »
Due to constant pressure, I am being forced into racing new school - Something about me being too young for old school (although I think this means "quick" :LolLolLolLol:).

Therefore, just picked up this from the bay of evil...

Should be ok to get me going - looks like it needs a bit of love and care, but should have it ready for my first race at Bournemouth on the 3rd

Will be picking her up on Saturday, which should give me Bank Holiday Monday to take her down to my local track in Bexhill to get some much needed practice!

Well done Sats, I had a look at that GT.  I decided that I have enough bikes at the moment.

That could be a superb looking bike with the right care.

Looking good Aaron, looking good.

I know what you mean about being quick though. I saw you in your first race and thought you'd be a shoe in for championship winner next year. Phil dissagreed though :LolLolLolLol:

daz bmx it!

It was but I spoke to the seller and he was quite happy to box it up and have a courier collect it.
I then used the contact that Sandro posted (see here: http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php'topic=16303.0) and they would have collected and delivered the bike for £20.

I just couldn't justify it at the moment as I have 2 frames winging their way to me as we speak.  Glad it has gone to a good home though  :daumenhoch:

I remember seeing it at MK... you have the HotWheels Ltd Edition as well?  I picked one up from the bay earlier in the week incase this one did not come through.

You need you get your duster out and give her a spring clean!

Unfortunately there's not enough room in the shed - Will clean her up good and proper and see if anyone would be interested - She's in good condition, with all the original bits (chain guard, reflectors, etc)

Do you know when the hotwheels edition was made? Not sure if its mid or new school?

Just a little pic of the GT when I got it home - just need to put on new grips, brake pads, brake cable, seat, wheels, tyres, chain...

She was not in great condition and needs a lot of love and care - and disinfecting :LolLolLolLol:

Should have some "before" and "after" pics up tomorrow!

They look quality  :daumenhoch:
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'
