Rainers bike shop, Germany
« on: November 10, 2014, 02:00 AM »
Just saw thus thread on bmx museum. It's an old thread, but has just been bumped. One of the museum members went to visit Rainers bike shop in Karlsruhe, Germany and he took some photographs. Great stuff!

I'd love to see it   :coolsmiley:

Try to buy something off Dieter, it's an odd experience, just because it is listed for sale doesn't mean it is for sale   :-\

I know what you mean! You can't go in all guns blazing. The act of purchasing something is akin to a game of chess. You have to ask nicely and be VERY polite! I think if he gets the feeling you're a dealer/flipper, then you've got no chance of buying from him!  I've bought a few things from him, and have never had any problems. Items arrived quickly and were exactly as described. I would defo use Rainers again for those hard to find items.

I've had a few bits off him over the years but I think you've got no chance getting any of the high end items off him  :(

Damn right, plus he adds tax to all of the prices so what you see on the site is rarely what you pay...

Errrm.

I used to work in Rad City BMX, tarpots,  benfleet bitd. Rainers place reminds me of that. Stuff everywhere in little drawers. Rows of nice bikes i couldn't afford. And some crap ones you wouldn't wanna.
