1985 ASCO PRO LINE LEON WALRAVENS REPLICA
« on: October 04, 2014, 07:52 PM »
Here 's the replica of the bike of the dutch racer Leon Walravens . Asco is a dutch brand , I love this brand because many friends had one of these back in the days and also it 's one of the rare european brand . I made my best to make the exact replica of the 1985 Ahoy rotterdam & Eindhoven indoor version beside Miranda . Leon is a cool guy and still ride today !!! He signed the bike this year at the World cup at Ahoy Rotterdam 29 years after there in the museum that we organized with Gerrit Does ... It was a cool moment !

Nice tidy build that  :daumenhoch:
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Agreed. The thing that sticks out to me is the steep angle of the seatstays. I like it though, it's a tall racers bike.  :daumenhoch:

Was thinking the same about that geometry - probably to accommodate those lanky Dutch riders!  :daumenhoch:

Lovely clean build though. Have seen some Asco parts come up for sale on here but first time to see a complete bike.

Ok riders, random start. Riders ready, watch the gate old gaijin make a fool of himself! :D

Liking that lots, very quirky looking frame with a really long rear end.
