Seat Post Diameter On A Reflex
« on: September 18, 2014, 12:35 PM »
Does anyone know what seat post size I need for a Reflex, I know these came with a shim, but don't think I used one last time, but can't remember what size post I used either.  ???

That's spooky! I was just looking up the same thing myself. I've decided to rebuild the reflex I bought for the wife for myself. I found this a few minutes ago:

I was just thinking of size of seat posts too.

They made Kuwahara Laser Posts in 22.2 and 22.4. Anyone know why?  :-\

Maybe with the reflex you would need a 22.2 post with shim and a 22.4 post without shim  :-\

Mine was a good fit with a 22.2 but I could never get it 100% tight Dan.

My 22.2 is tightish, it will be fine with SBD's powder on it.

Best thing I ever bought tool wise is a digital vernier gauge, measure it accurately then find the seat post to match, from past experience I found a shim just allowed it to move, nothing more annoying than a seat post than turns while riding, if you have a 22.5 tube then find a 22.4 post.
you can get in old school,
22.2 all makes
22.4 kuwahara cro-moly
22.5 haro cro- moly fluted
22.6 hsin lung cro-moly
