Spraying a seat Question?????
« on: August 29, 2014, 06:07 PM »
I have a faded blue seat that i am looking to spray,it wont dye so it wont,so how would you go about doing a good resto job on one and would the paint end-up coming off if you were using the seat etc then once it was sprayed would you use a lacquer on it.

cheers

Was a good resto thread on here a couple of weeks ago, when the guy sprayed a seat red. Just see if I can find it, and put a link up.

If it's not damaged and just faded you are much better off with spray vinyl dye. It penetrates the plastic slightly and is very wear resistant :daumenhoch:
The only problem is that the colour range is quite limited

There's loads of aeroyal's about, i'd wait for the right colour, dye it all depends on the grade and quality of the plastic
