I tracked down the guy that bought it... it was an ex-Team WHEELS rider that was selling it, and it was complete

Bargain by the sounds of it although i haven't seen any pics of it yet.

I've chatted to the new owner and he has been after this for some time, so is planning on leaving it as is after a quick clean and grease-up and using it. Maybe adding some decals...

Definitely not going to get stripped. He knew it was going to be listed with a BIN so snapped it up.

Bargain of the year!!

Very very light resto , different pedalls , re spoke wheels as spokes rusty , may try to clean them up 1st . & maybe a decal set ...
That's it .... Nice as it is IMO
Big thanks to Patric for letting me have this , as I know he could have got more for it.
Just being in the right place @ the right time I spose ?
As above will not be split , broke , swapped , sold on etc , as some bikes are meant to be saved & this is one of them , toooo much history with this , I'll get some pics up when got 5mins

If he knew you wanted it and supposedly gave you the heads up it was to be listed on the bay,why didn't he save himself the fees and just sell it to you direct ?
