I wanna be able to ride the fooking thing too. ::)
I'm with you on that dude  :daumenhoch:  When I picked up the white Tioga Comp III's for my Torker, they were drier than I thought they were and only lasted a couple of months  :yahoo_silent:  50 bucks down the swanny  ::)  Riding Comp III re-issues now. Just don't ride over drains in the wet on them  :D  :LolLolLolLol:

Has anyone got the factory spec list for an '83 Kuwie Laserlite, or send me a link for a resource site?

Cheers Dan. :daumenhoch:
Hey Dan, I didn't know you were also building one of these! I haven't seen pics of it done so is it still work in progress or on the back burner?

I was mate but the chrome wasn't very good on it and I had the opportunity to buy a KZ-01R off Gashead, so that's my Kuwie box ticked.

Most important bits apart form the f/f  :LolLolLolLol: IMO Are the the laser bars and laser post. Bung on some shiny sides and a vx cranks and it'll look sweet, mine does!  8)

I used Hsin Lung bars and a Nitto post, as close as you'll get to the originals, without the cost.  :daumenhoch:

If you go with as many Japanese parts as possible you won't go far wrong.  :daumenhoch:

The frame and fork I no longer have. Still got everything else though. I needed the funds to buy a Frame and fork from a NOS complete.  :) Its in me and my bikes. Its the best original laserlie frame I have ever seen. More pics on BMXmuseum. Link below. But I have not got round to building it up. Wish I kept it now as wanting another rider survivor.  :(

I would love some Laser bars (and for that, a post) on mine but I can't justify the cost!  :crazy2:

I've therefore gone for a new Nitto via Natsukashi and some era-correct Win pros - still Japanese and a lot cheaper!  :daumenhoch:
