Well yesterday evening with thanks to few different radsters(you know who you are) I picked up one of my grail bikes the 1985 redline RL20II prostyler in hazard yellow with og paint chrome and decals this frameset is stunning, I also got an og stem and set of redline freestyle bars . and have found myself today thinking of how to build it so I thought I would start a thread on here to show how I get on , this is going to be a rider so I am looking for a few different bits and I have a few bits to trade thanks for looking

The paint on this ole girl is stunning considering that it is 29 years old there are a couple of small.marks on chrome but as I said it's eighties chrome

must be an early 85, they changed the rear platforms to the square type in 85?

I'm not sure which way I am going yet just extremely happy to have bagged such a stunning example I am thinking hp48 or tuffs 880s or 883 nippons Acs stokers flights Acs rotor not sure just yet

I like them with HP48's, don't think tuffs would look right on a RL somehow! will be cool as whatever way you go!

I think the hazard yellow rl20ii's look best with chrome hp48's, especially with the chrome forklifter bars - Second best is some matching yellow peregrine masters. Or white masters if you have white flights. Either way, well done on getting this and I cant wait to see the build develop.

Bits have started to arrive for the build so far I have the elina flight tech seat the Acs stoker pedals hutch seat clamp peregrines comp St tyres fat thin combo next week I should have my brakes seat post and cranks with a bit of luck I will be building up . next Friday
