Has anyone seen / own a Tuf Neck Stem - Free Style Model...

There is a square notch out of the bottom of them...

Circa 1984...

never owned one but have seen a few for sale. I had a Pro model with a hollow bolt, the longer stem the better on most OS frames!

i got a later tuf neck stem which is a freestyle version ,is long reach as well ie like the hutch stems but don`t ask me for a pic as i don`t know where it is in garage

Ace stems came as freestyle and race. Got a race on my Pistol Pete.
Last freestyle one I had was a NOS blue and Cleedubber has it.

the freestyle ones look a bit like Redline Brute stems underneath
with the buttress type extra support.

If you save the picture and blow it up guys, you can just make out the exit hole underneath. It doesn't need a big hole as it's only the inner that comes out
