Great pics, and obviously chosen with care by the magazine (this was mentioned in another thread and seeing these pics I understand) - that bike's totally horizontal in the last one.
I think he went on to be King of Mountainbiking too.

yeah Bill but he does say he has a bird in the joe kid video. He must know he looks a bit gay to mention his bird. He dont look any odder than Andy Preston though  ;D he also has a bird.

April 1980 !!

Tinker was a really quick racer as well then went on to become one of the top Cross Country MTBer's the US has ever seen !!  :4_17_5:

Still does long distance MTB races I think ? .
