Nice. I think black and gold really suits a pk ripper. I like the hubs too. Did you find suitable width track hubs or convert them yourself? If so, what axles did you use? And what thread does the rear hub have?

I bought this set with the axels already converted although i've just converted another set for an 81 JMC. I found a genuine Campy after-market kit with solid axels and track nuts so simply swapped out the QR axels. From memory they're both 26TPI and with 9 and 10mm diameters (front and rear respectively).

The only slight ball ache is its not a slotted front axel, similar to 2nd Gen Sunshines so you're either going to have to add them yourself, thread the axel through the forks and hub with the wheel in place or ever so gently tap them into your drops as I did with the Ripper as i'm lazy and the OG paint was rock solid.

Brilliant. Thanks for the info. Im searching (aren't we all!!) for some specific campy hubs for a build and ive spotted the track axle kits so its good to know that they are kosher and work for bmx.
The only concern i have is for the freewheel, campy hubs are generally advertised as english, italian or french thread. What were yours?

Although Campy are Italian, I think most of their threads are English simply because focusing on Italian threads would limit their market appeal and French more so. Although you can find most hubs in all 3 threads in terms of what you're most likely to find it'll be English, Italian and then French.  If you're building for show then you can fit English onto Italian easily enough and you'll be left with a tiny bit of play, you can also fit Italian onto English but you'll damage the thread ever so slightly...

In answer to your original question mine are both English, nearly all Tipo and Record hubs are...
