Newbie looking for Mudcruncher info
« on: August 20, 2014, 02:09 PM »
Hi all,

I first signed up here a year ago looking for info on my first BMX back in the day, a black/yellow Mudcruncher. I know it was a POS, it even had cotter pin cranks! Havent been able to find much info about them on the web and wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of where to look. Would love to own one again for nostalgia purposes.

I've loved reading all your restoration posts and it has really got me back into bmx again, so much so I have bought a Diamond Back survivor from Ebay  :)

Cheers

Terry

That's it !!!  My old bike.  :smitten:

I changed the pads for some mongoose ones - yellow vinyl with the poppers and I put yellow Oakley grips on it, the ones that looked like they came off a ski pole. My bike was the ridicule of the BMX track, even the burner boys took the piss out of it!

I love the way the advert makes it out to be something that Pete Locaravich would want to ride, I notice they don't mention you had to keep tightening the crank arm!

Cheers KDW712  :daumenhoch:
