I must admit I do use Facebook, and to be honest find it quite easy to use, never post much on there though, same as Rad really, but, will always remain a site supporter here, just hope someday Retrodan will show me the knack to do both successfully !!!

Just stick with it Iain, it all gets simpler the more active you are on here.

Everything on offer at MK was equal opportunity. A racer buying a raffle ticket and a non racer buying a raffle ticket has no bearing on the fact everyone who had a ticket had just as much chance to win a prize. If you want a SnS trophy, then take the time to build a bike and put it in the SnS. Its not rocket science. The OP is just looking for things to cry about, but if you boil it down he is basically crying because he wanted a better prize for racing. End of.

MK was brilliant, I think it is pathetic that people can take a petty personal gripe and turn it into a storm in a tea cup.

I wasn't there this year due to my birthday being the 16th. I am hoping next year it is decided to be a different date as I had intended to come along with a couple of buddies and would liked to have had a bash on the track again.

From what I read every year on the after posts, it just gets better and better there and the fact, as Steve stated, it is pretty much all FREE, I can't see the need for anyone to gripe about anything.

I think everybody does a great job in getting it all organised and cleared up after everyone has left.

I think the winner of each race section should get a brand new car next year though, XFR-S or something similar   :D  ;D

I don't / didn't feel snubbed, don't do fb so all the links I've had to nice comments on my S&S bikes won't be read.  ::) Stoked with the win!  :D

Been going to the best OS BMX event around since 07 and I do cherish my OS racing plates even though 08 was only C final.
Even sandbagged last years semi to get a plate in B final only to find out only A final get em.  :'( . Only myself to blame.

Pre registration on here for racing before the would get more motivation on the sunday maybe. ( I was and always am properly hung over on the sunday but still race) Maybe OS racing Saturday afternoon. Many do NS now anyway they can do Sunday. Didn't the OS winner ride 2 classes all Sunday this year?

Like Jon said "got to be in it to win it". Raced, Showed n Shined, rode the lake, went to the Dog & Duck and had an amazing weekend again.

My wife is Czech and 33 years old buddy. She has no concept of BMX at all and being there instead of with her and the kids and not attending what she planned, could have led to divorce me thinks  :D

To be fair to Ritchie he's been on the site for a few years before the site was down, only really posted in the O/S racing forum.

He is into his racing, taking part and winning at the Worksop meet a few weeks ago.

There's been dwindling numbers of racers at MK over the last 2 years, think he's more on about the reduced emphasis on racing at MK???

So basically is a very good racer, and is peeved as his victories felt hollow for him as RAD didnt supply enough competition for him??  ???
