How long is a Hutch layback seatpost? Also is there any stamping on it? Cheers.

No stamping on mine, 16" (410mm) long, measured along the front edge  :daumenhoch:

As above most aren't stamped it's the angle of the layback you are ok as long as you didn't buy it off the guy on ebay who just sticks a hutch or a haro sticker on any old seat post

No. This was an old thing. Loads of scratches and a little rust. I've got it rubbed down for rechroming sometime in the future. I have seen them posts on ebay.  They look the part but he don't mention if they have any stamping and he doesn't claim them as the real deal. I'll get some pictures up soon.

Hi,

Just wondered if you'd got a spare one these for sale or could recommend a place to purchase? Hope you don't mind me asking and I'm aware this is an old thread but I was doing a search on google and stumbled across your post.

I'm after one myself but as glenboy said, it's a mine field out there!
