Hoffman TAJ built
« on: July 31, 2014, 07:46 PM »
Finally finished putting my TAJ together and I'm well chuffed with it.  Looks great and rides great.  The Odyssey Springlfield brake with the ghost pads on the chrome rims work better than any brake I've ever put together.  There is no slow down.....only stop.  I highly recommend them and they're bloody cheap too.  I'll be using this to play on the Pump Track at Bishops Tachbrook as soon as my ankle is better.  Can't bloody wait.

Looks nice - only thing I'd do is get shot of the Profile Imperial sprocket (personal choice - I hate the look of em)  :daumenhoch:

Them Ghost pads - hated em as for me it was a squeek-a-thon!

I really like the Profile but if you wanted to sell me your GRaveyard sprocket I'd happily change it :).

I had the same issue with the ghost pads on my Voelker so I took them off.  I decided to give them another go on this though and they're ninja like.  Hopefully they stay that way.

Blackly - get it built.  You know it makes sense

Top stuff Ed. Good to see her her finally built up. I would like to recommend getting some good quality clear sticky tape and putting a strip over the taj signature. If I remember correctly it was done with a tipex pen as that's all that was available so if it gets wet it might disappear

Cheers Phil.  Absolutely chuffed to bits with it.  I've got it all running smooth as silk now.  The brakes are sharp and silent.  It is actually perfect.  Good thinking on the clear tape.  WIll look into that.

nice taj man!! I have a set of the clear pads on my bennet and they sound like a flock of geese being corrupted infront of a loudhailer but they certainly do stop me quick
