Birmingham ride on 27th September. We'll be taking in a few pubs, grabbing some grub and paying a visit to the legendary Birmingham Wheels site, the former home of the Euro track. Meeting at 11am outside The Shakespeare pub in lower Temple St (outside New Street Station). All BMX's welcome old, mid and new school.

I have a selection of Mix and Match stickers and T-Shirts designs for the event. The combination is up to you, front back, no problem. I can do the Breaking Bad with your name if you wish. Let me know if you are interested. £18 each and they are printed with a new process which is printed directly onto the T shirt rather than the slightly tacky Vinyl printing.

Gutted - I don't think I can make this one as I have to work. Really wanted to do a Birmingham/Midlands ride after speaking to Paul B at Blackpool in June. Sorry lads  :'(

I would have loved for this to have been the first ride-out for my WHEELS build, but unfortunately it looks like i too will be missing this due to work  :'(

I'd have killed to go on it as well..... another time perhaps. I'll have a word with the missus in case she fancies taking it along (although i doubt it!!!)

Is there actually anything remaining of the track or anything to ride there now?

Is this the very same track that had a small shack with a Reynolds racing frame manufacturer?
If so I went there a few times in 80's on me Diamond Back Pro 1. There was this Chinese dude on a black frame Reynolds bike. Hec he was Rad and fast. Bike lighter than a feather!! Anyone remember this? I lived in Knowle, Solihull and went to Arden School up the road. Often went to Redditch but mainly built ramps out my front garden, this all before the famed Haro NEC show ( I thinks).

Here's another design you might like to consider for the T shirt mix n' match.

Last call for T-shirts! I'm off to the printers tomorrow. Have a look at the designs and just decide what design you want. Could you Paypal me the money and write in the attachment which design you want, colour and size. As I am promoting the ride on so many sites, the only way I can keep tabs on all the orders is through Paypal. My paypal account is browningnet@gmail.com. Cheers PB
