Late 90's black wall tyres
« on: July 15, 2014, 12:06 PM »
What was around circa 97 as far as black wall tyres?  Was it pretty much comp 3 fat n thins, and more to the point, does anyone have a mint set or know where I could get some?

I've seen the tioga ones on eBay, but I don't know if these are recent repops, and I can't seem to get hold of both fat n thins?

Any help would be great guys,

Mark

Quite a few tyres came in black wall around then - black walls started coming back in around then n'all.

V-Monsters, Comp III's (rainbow label), Tioga ramps, Generix, both GT logos and megabites, Hoffers Skidmarks, and I think the KHE were bw as well  :daumenhoch:

I've got some used rider Tioga Comp 4s I think ... free to a good Wini home.

Cheers Ed, I might take you up on that as I'm going with Bens but don't want to ride on em.

Any mid week suspect action taking place anymore?
