I have had this 1990 Robinson JR for a while now and just getting round to making a start with it.

As the Northern Monkeys know my eldest "Tink" is a regular on the Rides on her 81 Robinson Expert,  and what you do for one ...
well this build is for Tink little Sister,  "Lolo" who wants a "Roberson" as she puts it of her own... :4_17_5:

We decided to put all the parts out and make a list of what parts we are missing, I think we have some forks sorted but if there are any out there pm me...

[/URL]

Everything we have here is NOS and hopefully we can make her a decent bike to ride out on this summer.

Parts list
1. Ideally a suntour Mini stem
2. A Pair of brakes to suit the skinny wheels ?
3. Ideally a blue UNI mini seat and post or blue seat cover.
4. Euro BB set
5. TA alloy Cranks or similar ( think we've one inbound)
6. Small size  9/16's pedals

The sundries like chain, cables and grips I will go see uncle Alan for.

If you have anything guys let me know.

That's going to be a nice build.

Please post up pics of progress. Looking forward to seeing them wheels built.

If I remember right the DC 750 brakes work on these, not 100% sure. :-\

This is the BB you'll need for example 1.37x24T http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tioga-Euro-Bottom-Bracket-1-37-x-24-Vintage-NOS-Old-School-BMX-MTB-Fixie-Road-/141365706860?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20ea0d806c

The problem with these mini's is finding the correct spindle so ya cranks miss the chainstays. Just ask Nick!!!  :LolLolLolLol:

I may be able to sort you out, maybe!!!  ;)  Can you measure approx the widest point of ya stays, I presume ya cranks are 165 ish? Just offer them up roughly so you'll see where they have to clear.  :daumenhoch:

Just found this old message I sent to Steve when we were trying to sort one out............   :daumenhoch:

Spindle length is 115mm approx on my mini Champion, just measured the mini MRDs and they seem to be roughly 125mm. I guess it depends wot frame its going in, the shape of the chainstays & the crank lengths so you have enough clearance at the 'bends'.

I've just realised ....   :LolLolLolLol:

I have unboxed one from a 1983 Robinson Mini I have, that's 125mm so I guess that's the one I need to find.

Anyone got a 125mm Euro BB complete with bolts ????
