FINISHED building the T1 at last! New tyres on
« on: May 17, 2014, 05:02 PM »
So I finally got half an hour to put the bar code together.  The frame still has odd little patches of red paint on it from where the previous owner hadn't stripped it fully but I just wanted to get it together.  I recently got a dremel so can polish up the frame later.

Want to get some T1 decals at some point too and I still need a sprocket bolt for the Fly bikes cranks

So the final build ended up being

MAAS built T1 Barcode 2004 and there is no logo cut out of the tt gusset
Deluxe wide bars
Dirt harry lever
Primo Ebrake
Fly Bikes 2 piece cranks and Primo bb
Federal 39t Chainring
Sun Big city chrome rims on Prolite hubs
Shadow undertaker and Maxxis Grifter tyres
Salt transparent grips
Fly bikes Mosca stem
Odyssey 41 thermal dirt fork
Chris King no threadset
Odyssey intac post and mini seat
Odyssey twisted PC pedals

the only changes I plan to make are to get some Odyssey Ghost pads for the brake and maybe new tyres, as my faves are Fly Ruben.  was also thinking of 36t ring but it might make the chain foul the brake.

rides nicer than the T1 I had before as it seems slightly longer

Ive just taken delivery of my Barcode too - i thinks its also a MAAS produced frame circa 2005 - it has the '1' on the gusset too

looks like a solid frame - a little tlc needed and a new lick of paint!... gonna go Lambo style Battle ship grey i think....
