I would have a DP Firebird Freestyler in my top 6 in place of the PK Ripper above
I remember the DP very heavily advertised as a frame and forks kit in all the mags so from a UK sense it was definatley on the wish list of many, but does that make it iconic.I guess if we are really talking iconic then the Blue and yellow Tuff Burner should be there ....it was probably the advert for BMX that got us all hooked in the first place. When i say iconic..i mean in the sense that the Chopper and Grifter were iconic....Therefore perhaps for the UK the Tuff Burner was the most iconic.....and then came the Haro and the Skyway .Just sayin ;-)
At the risk of flaming your thread, is the Skyway TA, and the PK Ripper, considered Freestyle? I would have put them firmly in the "Race" bucket.Just sayin', like......
Good boy
You HAVE to have a Performer in there. WIth the world tours of 85 and 86 they brought freestyle to the masses. The Flying Banana - Iconic FACT!
Streetbeat Rob? ... are you having a laugh I'd swap out the 84 Sport for the DP ... from a UK perspective.
