Mid vid soundtracks
« on: May 07, 2014, 09:23 PM »
I've just been listening to a few of the tunes from the old vids whilst the other half has the tv remote and theyre taling me straight back to the good old days. Anyone got any favourites or ones where the title/artist elude you?

A couple of Operation Ivy tracks used in Behold the wonders that never cease

NOFX did a song called "Don't call me White".  I was listening to that today in my car.  I love the american punk from that time.

This was the video that inspired me into loving BMX.  I was always shit at riding but I still loved it.

Track 9 - NOFX Dyin Degree opened my eyes to a whole new world of awesomeness.

There's a crap load of em (esp. American 'pop' punk) - some that spring to mind:

Zeke - Telepath Boy
Fugazi - Waiting Room
Diesel Boy - Titty Twister
Bad Religion - You

best two though:

Lipps, Inc - Funkytown

and Jean Jacques Perry - Eva

In the mid-to-late 90s, the Road Fools soundtracks were littered with great punk and indie tracks. I was particularly fond of the Archers Of Loaf song that was featured on the first video:

  8) I read somewhere that this was Jay Mirons favourite song to ride to and had it playing on his runs.

I can't see anywhere to watch it. Backyard vids don't seem to be online at all except a few clips on 23mag.

Could never find the punk version of 'go your own way' at the end of backyard - on location. Starts off with Stu Dawkins sitting on a chair with cuts and bruises on his arms then goes into the closing sequence
