Vans and other shoes, whats a good choice
« on: June 16, 2014, 11:02 PM »

I have had these Vans and they have been great thick padded on tongue and heel but they are pretty wrecked now. whats a good choice nowadays? maybe something higher to stop catching ankles on bike.  Cheers :daumenhoch:

Have a look at vans pro classics, tougher all round and a gel insole, half cabs are what I went for.

still like vans for mooching  about in , but recently moved to 510's for riding in ,  probs the best trainers i've ever had ,  well made good pricing compared with vans , but the sole is something else   the Stealth sole is proper , not to thick but more shock absorbant than vans , this with a set of decent pins in yer alloy pedals and it almost like being clipped in ,  i  got the Line King High tops blue/grey as they were on sale , will be getting some low tops too , never thought i would wear owt but vans to ride  but have to say i'm converted  :daumenhoch:   i'll have em on at the Beast  ramps meet Paul ya can have a butchers at em  :daumenhoch:
