« on: June 10, 2014, 08:26 PM »
They've been a bit if a nono on RAD in previous times, but you can't deny that they were there BITD, and just recently they seem to be here.

Christian posted his survivor Mk1 Tuff, Rob's bought a survivor Mk2 Super Tuff and so on, so lets see them up here in all there glory.

Come on it's time to come out and show us those Burners.

I'll start...

1984 Night Burner - Custom

1984 Super Tuff

1984 Team rider

1984 Mag Burner

1983 Aero Pro

Burner's are like the Classic Mini (car).

Everyone can relate to one, in one way or another.

I like Burners, even down to the Red and Yellow or Blue and Yellow.

Yours are  :4_17_5:

Nice bikes aand a cool collection  8)  You need a Blue/Yellow tuf burner in it though , never had one but they are a very iconic BMX imo . Loads of lads near us had those .

Got a couple myself but like all the others they ain't built yet  ::)

Your AP looks tidy Nick  :coolsmiley:

I've only got 4 of them now Joff, the Night was one from 2010, I cringe looking at it now, seat post too high, guts the wrong way round, not lining my valves up, and pedals not level.  :-[

I think that custom Night looks tidy Dan , agree on the seat post/guts etc  :D but you must have been talking to Griff for too long re the OCD bits !!  It's a shame the geometry is just so wrong on them .

The Tange made AP is a totally different ball game , i had my 83 Team AP frame out next to my 83 Laserlite frame and the AP frame is far nicer imo  8)

Yeah, shite geometry, if never ride any if them apart from the AP. I was lucky to get this AP, I only paid £230 for it. It had been for sale on RB.com for weeks, but the seller posted really bad pics and nobody sniffed at it. I messaged the seller and asked him for more detailed pics, which he did. I took a punt, and was glad I did, it's mint, 9/10 if say, lovely for an '83.  :smitten:

MkI Ultra which was my first resto project....

...and my MkII SuperTUFF which was my first BMX from BITD. I found it in my parents shed several years ago and have left it pretty much as-found apart from replacing the tyres  :daumenhoch:
