Sealed bearing bb for opc
« on: June 04, 2014, 10:48 PM »
Hey guys I am having a small issue with the bb on my fst in respect that it has two sealed 60052rs bearings in it which I replaced when I saw that they were a bit chewed up on the inside (only for my own personal satisfaction ) as they were still very smooth  .now I am having an issue with them going over the collor on drive side and the non drive side just being a tadge to big to go in is there a trick I am missing can anyome help thanks very much  the other thing is that you cant pre asemble as you will not be able to get the crank in ???? Puzzled

id say they were wrong bearings if really tight to go on, all the ones ive had have fitted perfect, take the crank and the old bearing to a bearing company to get correct ones.

Lee, you replaced them because they were chewed up on the INSIDE ??? ???

Mate, you're losing the plot you know..... no-one can see the inside of your BB :2funny:

A decent sealed BB will last years unless you ride it heavy round dirt tracks every day bud - just put the original bearings back in and if you're still twitching, pop the little bearing covers off the new ones and put them onto the old ones :daumenhoch:

See you at MK again bud :coolsmiley:
Still limping......
