Newbie from South London
« on: May 31, 2014, 07:14 PM »
Hi everyone, just built a Torker 280 up and went for a spin with my mate CJ who has been a member on here for a while, I have infact probably ridden with some of you already, as I attended a Rad ride through London a few years back, I had a ripper at the time, since sold that as it was cracked and a bit mashed, Always wanted a Torker 280 and decided to get out today on it down at Dartford Heath. Do any of you guys get down there? look forward to chatting to you all, have always loved the scene and plan to get out on some of the forthcoming Rad events.. if you will allow me to come out and play  ;)

The Heath was a great place to ride in the 80s it really hasn't changed much since then, trouble is I have to keep reminding myself I'm 46 now ..not 16!

Yes indeed Craig more rides on the horizon for sure  :D

Where are you from mate? I rode up the heath on the 80's in fact we were still riding up there till a few years back. Some of the lads here go up there from time to time .

Used to live in Orpington Bob in the 80s, we mainly used to all hook up at St Pauls Cray skate ramps, yellow and green fibreglass ramps which were lethal in the wet! then we would all venture out from there. I can see Dartford Heath becoming a regular ride I'm living in Eltham now so not to far, be great to get a crowd of us down there  :daumenhoch:

Will get some pics up soon
