Happy Bike Meeting 2015, Tokyo, Japan
« on: May 21, 2015, 01:06 PM »
So last Sunday I made my annual trip to the biggest and best old school event in Tokyo, if not Japan, namely the Happy Bike Meeting in Komazawa Olympic Park.

In descending order of detail, here are a few of the many, many photos I took. Hope you like 'em! :daumenhoch:

& last but not least, my '83 Laserlite! :smitten:

Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

I'd never been a big fan of Moosegooses but that black one was so nice it's kind of changed my mind!! Plus the owner seemed quite chuffed when I asked if I could take photos of his bike, so we were both happy!  :daumenhoch:

No, I didn't see the Bonz Bros guys there but I'm glad you mentioned them because I love going to their shop, which is by a riverside path that I sometimes ride along. I guess the bulk of their business is online but they've got some nice stuff hanging up on the walls and ceiling, and are always happy to have a chat. How do you know them?

I got talking to Nari, he made a 24 or 26" mongoose frame and at one point had a very large collection of mint mongoose stems which he has now sold.
I don't like the moosegoose either, looks like a clown bike
