Here's a run down of what happened last night in round 4 of Hersden's Summer Series.

Moto 1. winner Sats, 2. Wolfy, 3 Buxton
Moto 2, winner Buxton, 2. Wolfy 3 Sats
Moto 3, winner Sats, 2 Buxton, 3 Wolfy

A final winner Buxton 2 Wolfy 3 Sats

A fine display from all three riders despite the small turnout, hopefully a larger entry will come down for round 5 on sept 10.

SERIES STANDINGS AFTER ROUND 4

Wolfy             98
Mark Buxton   88
Buckmore Bat 50
Sats                42
Neil Thwiates   32
Zippy               31

Go Wolfy.

I reckon next year is going to be the closet run championship ever. Espesially with Aaron coming on strong and Chris back to full strengh.

to be honest sats is only 26 and is a bit to young for o/s.we'll give him this year as its his first year back but he'll be advised to get a new school bike and go 16+ racing next year.he's still younger than russ p who is leading the champs.o/s is a crutch he should'nt have to hang on to for much longer.this weekend at hayes will turn his head me thinks.maybe him and dave glendower should swop bikes. :coolsmiley:

I’m 27..... 27 and a half in November!  I know I look young for my age - all that moisturiser I use!

Looking forward to Hayes tomorrow.... will bring the DP along to give her a bit of track time (Thanks for the push Justin - Not sure my wife is too happy with you!)

I must say, the 16+ race at Hersden looked good fun too - Some quick riders with a lot of style.

Can I still race my old school bike(s) if I get pushed into the 16+..... if not, not to worry as have just picked up this from the Bay of Evil

Anyways, another top event on Thursday, shame the track was a bit dusty.... Not too sure about Mr Buxtons overtaking manoeuvres :LolLolLolLol:

I have to say my money would have been squarely on Aaron to win next years championship. He's getting quicker and quicker and as soon as he gets back into racing proper is going to be really hard to catch.
