What brake blocks would you use ????
« on: May 14, 2014, 08:33 PM »
Ok,

So I recently build an old school rider with alloy rims, what (old school) brake blocks would you suggest using for the best stopping power ??????

I know its wont be great as I'm only using a mx900 rear only, I was using tuff pad copys but there was next to no stopping power at all  unless i really cranked the Lever super tight ...

Thanks in advance. :daumenhoch:

No difference to my knowledge, obviously white and black were for Tuffs and Z's.  :daumenhoch:

I have white DC blocks on one of mine and it still leaves black residue on the rim! :idiot2:

Either way they don't work particularly well, and in the rain you've had it.

I run cool stops on the rides and by fookerty do they work!

Just check my back tyre from Chester. Balder than PeterJ :LolLolLolLol:
