Profile Crank ID question
« on: May 13, 2014, 09:03 PM »
Hi all,

I have had a set of Profile cranks in a box for several years and finally managed to dig them out this afternoon. I know nothing about them but i know there is quite a bit of info available online, which i have had a nose through but thought i'd ask on here too. Can anybody help with ID or dating these? They have a weep hole at either end and have a hand-engraved length of 177mm. They need a re-chrome but overall look nice  :daumenhoch:

Cheers!

 :daumenhoch:

The pages I had read were pointing to early 3rd Gen too, so thanks for the confirmation guys. These were out from early '83 I believe - correct?

Maybe regarding the chrome... I haven't tried giving them a polish yet!
