Aero-Lite
« on: May 08, 2014, 08:30 PM »
I was flicking through an old copy of BMX Weekly earlier (as you do) and came across an Areo-Lite test/review.

Funky looking English square alloy tube frame, I'm pretty sure I would have noticed one before had I seen one, which lead me to wonder...

Did it ever go into production ?
Was it special order only ?
Does anyone have one ?
Is the test bike still around ?

The top tube looks quite short but that's due to the steep the tube angle I think :-\
Back end and wheel base look quite long.

It was made by Premier Automotive Ltd. from Burnaston airfield, Derby.

It was also used as the advertising bike for Acorn Magnum 20's

Lovin the seat stay gusset (aviation inspired)

The seat tube angle looks good coz the Uni Turbo sits well, it's just the head tube. It needs a set of straight fork dropouts like the Tange pinched 1200's
