1981 Torker LP
« on: May 07, 2014, 10:54 AM »
A couple of changes on my Torker. I have swapped the grips out for white ODI's (the same grips I had on it back then), swapped the Comp III's for some closer to era correct tyres, Snakes, and added a couple of genuine old school decals.

Just need to swap out the pedals for some XCI's when they show up.

I think for now though, I am done and extremely happy with it.

Thanks guys  :daumenhoch:

The pads are repops, from the man himself. I have had them now for a few years and 'aged' them when I got them. There are a few little cracks to the vinyl and the poppers have minor surface rust. I coated them in clear nail polish to stop them getting any worse  :)

Thanks buddy. I was in two minds whether to use the decals but decided originals were better. Luckily the white on the had 'yellowed' a little so suit the age of the bike. I just had to 'alter' them slightly  ;D
