The later stamped hutch donuts are nice and era correct for 86

Nice that is Clint  :daumenhoch: I like the idea of Hutch.  I have a tioga for it at the moment, but it won't go on without me attacking it with a big hammer - probably need 1/4mm taking out to get it on (fits fine on the Stout Boy....... )

Why don't you try a dia compe hinged clamp with a quick release like Dave Nourie used?

Could even go for a plain old Odyssey the one with holes in.  :-\ Black or silver are common but other colours pop up too now and again.

My suggestion- look in any bmx mag from 86 and look at the parts manual. Find one that suits your build. Era correct or gtfo (:

I've had one of these, was going to strip it down and use the release on a blue dia compe, and that would be 100% as Dave Nourie had. Good luck with it...
