Primo seat post help......

Now don't laugh........ how the bloody hell to I get the seat off the post???  Brute force and ignorance, or am I missing something?

As long as you have the allen bolts removed on both sides then there is nothing else holding it together.

Brute force time.

This is what's confusing me - there's only one Alan bolt, the clamp just wraps right around.......

tap (BASH!)  the bottom insert inwards it'll all go loose then

It's gone all loose........ Still won't come off though.  Scuse thickness, but have I sort of got to force the clamp over the rails by spreading the jaws of the post?

Its off........ ignore the filthy water its stood in, I'm not trying to drown it, I've got a big bath of citric on the go and just chuck everything in it.
