I want to refurb a set of 24" Araya hoops. Currently Blue.....Want them Black and Shiney Sides.

I can get them Anodised, but the company are currently moving, so will have to wait 3-4 weeks.

Or can a i get them powder coated, and polished for shiney sides.

What are the pros and cons to this?

Any Help appreciated / Experience

Cheers

Ano is the usual finish for alloy, it scratches but doesn't chip like powder coat.   Ano is a dye that is electrically absorbed into the alloy wheras powder coat is a layer that is baked onto the alloy.

Ano would look og, powder would look ok.

Better to crash and burn than fade away
