I remember reading something on the early days of Profile and Hutch.
Working together then parting ways but producing the same 20" f/f.
Profile then introduced the bar to differentiate.
I was interested to see how the 24's compared. It seems they are totally different altogether.
Thanks to steve for waiting a bit, This enabled me to get some comparison shots while both f/f's were in my possesion.
This sort of shiz interests me and i know it does a few others but i havent seen it posted anywhere.
So here are some pics.
The profile fork drops have a greater curve and a larger hole. The profiles also have a flat end to the tube whereas the hutch has a sweeping cut.
The Hutch has Essex girl type sweep from the fork crown
(Steve's description )
The geomytry is totally different too.
The profile has a more relaxed seat and headtube angle compared to the Hutch.
The profile has a thinner top tube with the bar support. Then a thick down tube.
The Hutch has a thick top tube and down tube.
From the fork to the bb shell both frames meet up but the Hutch has a longer back end.
The profile has thicker dropouts.
Hope a few of you find the pics a little informative and interesting.
