240 grit brake pads would do it  ;)
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Use 240 Grit with a sanding block, followed by 600 grit, 1200 grit depending on the level of finish you are after you may need to go to 1600 grit and 2000 grit folllowed by Peek or Autosol (depending on your preference).

Ed I use a detail sander with 240 grit to start and got bored after 600 grit so polished them on the polishing wheel :2funny:

If it's a show pony then follow Marty's guide :daumenhoch:

Fully built is no sweat Ed :coolsmiley:

And seriously,  get a small electric detail sander - it will be much faster :daumenhoch:

the quick way is a big steep hill, pedal fast and pull the brakes. repeat as necessary, much more fun too.  :daumenhoch:

Sure is  :D

If you do as Spen say's and use a detail sander you can have them done in 1/2 an hour , that includes hand finishing them  . Done a few sets myself .

Now polishing spokes is a different ball game ........ that is the most boring thing you can ever do !!

If you were closer ED i'd do them for you foc but it will probably cost you £10 each way to post them  ;)

the detail or palm sander is the way ed. ive just refurbed some arayas and it took no time. get some vecro tape and stick it to wet and dry so you can use it on the sander. (if u know what i mean)
