This is the second time I have owned this frameset and padset. I bought this off a museum member 2009 and saved it from being restored, built it up and then sold it due to its girly color and not fitting in with the rest of my bikes. This is the ONLY pic I have of it.
Few years went by and I really wanted to build up a Freestyle bike and wanted it to be a SE to stay with what I love and collect. I never heard back from the buyer but I remembered I shipped it to NY. I put up a wanted post with no luck, so i started looking for either a Freestyle Quad or a Floval.
Well, I ended up finding it on Ebay located in MN as a complete and built up with shitty parts but my pads and frameset was still all there as I remembered it. So i sent him a message with my # and we talked and agreed on a price. It was $100 more then what i sold it for 4yrs ago so I wasn't too mad. I agreed to pay the guy in a few days and that was that. He ended up selling it out from under me and it was headed to California. I was mad but then again maybe ill see it again on the sites or maybe it finally met its death and will be restored......NOPE a week later I see the padset listed up for sale on Ebay, so I contacted the seller and said that was my old padset, where is the lavender frameset. He called me, told me the price, said he wanted a direct deposit in his account and he would ship it. DONE DEAL....I ended up getting it for $85 cheaper then what I sold it for 4yrs ago!!
haha!!
Now its a keeper!!
