I have an old kashimax handler seat that's a bit yellowish,so do I just put it in neat bleach to whiten it?

laidback i searched tesco lastnight and they dont stock it here even asda dont do it,so i bought domestos bleach spray hopefully it will do the trick if not il have to get it of ebay,have you ever dyed yellow skyways or z rims red?
ordered the rit black dye,but would dylon do the same job or is rit the best? :daumenhoch:

Finally got the cillit bang bleach one in a different tescos  :D no more searching if i run out off it now lol

ive just finished doing 1 wheel came up a treat will take pics of that one and the other that needs done and show the difference,there maybe not as good as laidbacks but they will do my job  :D

now to upload the gt pics and start another thread lol

Yeah it is good stuff alright,i had started to use the domestos nearly rubbed my knuckles into the wheel trying to remove the cr_p on it lol but the cillit is the dogs ganglies  :nuts: excellent stuff and the longer you leave to soak it seems to work its magic better,your a good man with coming up with that,that tip on its own should be a sticky :daumenhoch:

Right got my dye this morning,so when i go to dye the z rims,what all is it i do if am using the wallpaper stripper method,and do i have to do something to keep the rims of the top of each other,i know il bollocks this up so needing as much info as possible from you good guys >:D if yous have done the wallpaper stripper method yourselves :daumenhoch:

Yeah Simon it really is good stuff and the front wheel i did was alot worse than the back one in the photo,zytecs  :) loved them back in my days and the ogk's but hard to get now,i remember my 1st mags,santa brought them as a suprise Acorns the really bendy ones,you went round a sharp corner you never knew if they would bend badly and whip you off the bike...i nearly bought a pair of them,then got a flash back off my days with them  :2funny:

Well laidback its not as good as yours,but i suppose its not bad for a 1st attempt,maybe i am using the wrong scourer,coz i only used the green scotch brite pad....did you also use the cif in the photo aswell? :daumenhoch:

Normal table salt is ideal and available in 1kg bags ... I normally use 2kg when doing a pair of wheels and keep the water hot for best results too  :daumenhoch:

Both rims or wheels at the same time mate ... fully immersed which helps to keep a consistent colour  :daumenhoch:

I've just finished a pair of early Tuff 1's which were well faded ... I'll upload some photos soon  ;)

Right the wheels are in approx 2 hours but it doesnt seem to be taking around were the brake rub was :-\ any idea's why this is happening?

i lifted the rims out this morning and the black dye has not took to the edge of the rim were the brake hits etc,trying to explain myself the best here lol sounds silly saying were the brake hits :D

Top quality mate very nice, :smitten: them tyres,i think it was a pink set i bought lastnight for my build,doing a haro group 1 at the mo but on the look out fo a set of nice red tyres or i need to build the set of red rims i got  :daumenhoch:
i still need to finish 1 skyway of 1 more scrub with the bleach should do it  ::) thank god
